Transfer Case question

Being a new guy to the Deuce world I don't have a lot of knowledge of what swaps with what on these trucks. My question is: will a T-case from M39 series vehicles fit the M44A2 series vehicles? Any explanations on the differences would be greatly appreciated.

No it won't, different transfer case between the two trucks. .ifferences, size, drive flanges, sprag shifting, mountings,
