transfer case questions

ok guys how do the transfer cases engage on the five tons?

Do they have a selectable in cab switch to knock the front axle in or out?

specifically the newer m818 and m932 etc series.

Not sure if things changed on the 800 and 900 series, but in my 5ton, it is a sprague clutch system.

809 series have the air operated sprag, the 939 series have an airshift engagement on the lower left dash.

Yes, 900 Series is a true air shift transfer case to engage front axle when you want it.

im talking about being able to completely lock-in/ lockout the front axle like the m35 airshifts.


Does anyone make locking hubs for the five tons like the duece?

Are all the five tons equipped with detroit lockers front and rear?
