Transfer Case

I hope the "no question is a dumb question applies" to this. Is there a huge difference between the manual and pneumatic Rockwell transfer cases (other than the obvious)? Is one preferred over the other?

Air is preferred... but a proper adjusted Sprag works just as well and is automatic.

The air shift is the "manual" T-case.

There's a whole lot of difference in the inside of sprag or a air-shift. They look close to the same on the outside but they are almost completely different from the high/low section back.

The air-shift is prefered over the sprag case.
