I have a CUCV truck and i am looking for someone close to swap my transmission out for a 700r4. Its a auto 85 w/6.2 (duh) Does anyone know of someone near stockton ca? i will be willing to drive it within CA if its a good price. I've got a couple of quotes that are around 2k which i think is a little excessive. Any help would be great.

Make sure the quote includes dealing with the t-case since the stock 208 case won't bolt up. There's also a bracket and cabling needed for the TV cable.

If I lived closer I would do it. I have done several of these, one of them I installed an np205 behind the 700r4. It would cost more than $2000 with shipping or driving the truck to Michigan, plus parts and labor.
