Hello great people,
For those that have Tried and True setups to power 12V accessories, will you please share your setups and experience? I would like to install camera's, additional exterior lights, trailer lights, interior lights, to just name a few. Radio, unless suggested otherwise, I may just use a blu tooth speaker.
Thanks so much!
Dave

I used a Pyle converter in my Deuce for 12v power. Just don’t get it wet….

Just dont try to run power from one of your batteries (assuming you have two 12v batts in series). Can really kill a battery bc of one getting charged a lot more then the other, since the truck charges them as a pair (one will get less volts then it needs, other gets more volts). Learned that from Simp :)

There are good 24v to 12v converters out there that dont cost much, handle decent power (like 20 amps continuous), can always go that way if you need

Ive got a few 12v things on my truck, very low draw (like some add on gauges), i currently just have wired to cigarette lighter. Cig lighter is 12v in my truck. Will do something more permament down the road, i'm still working on getting mine finished and road legal (still needs cab, thats the biggest thing, hopefully start on that soon), gauges are more like temporarily hooked up for now
