Trip from MI to WI and back

I will be heading over to Westech's house in WI to get my Deuce. I'll be taking the ferry across the lake to avoid the traffic in Chicago. I am planning for the weekend after turkey day. so I'll be leaving my house on the 23rd and hoping to be back home sometime on the 24th but leaving the sunday just in case.

I think the Badger (car ferry) is closed for the season? Seem to remember they close in October and open in April or thereabouts.

Yep the car ferries are all closed for the season. Plan on taking roadway all the way. You might go throught the UP depending on where in WI he is.

yup, a month too late for the ferry, darn there goes that idea. I'll just drive through the outskirts of chicago, since he's in madison, it would add a lot of driving to go north considering that i am near the southern end of michigan.
