1997 S&S M1078 8300 miles. Just cleaned up after transport from GP.
Went out for the first test drive of the M1078 early yesterday morning. Warmed the truck up to 165, verified CTIS is in Hwy mode with a SOLID red light and tire pressures are at 55psi. Around 25-30 mph the CTIS Ovspd warning light started flickering on and off. When slowing down below 20mph (approx.) the flickering stops.
I know the CTIS over speed light is designed to come on when you are using one of the other modes off-road, run-flat, etc. and if you go above that settings speed threshold the warning light comes on however, shouldn't be getting this light in highway mode and the flickering indicates some connection/sensor problem.
Going to refer to the -20 to see what I can find but thought I would go ahead and start a post up here in case anyone else has the issue or fixed. My first assumption is a ground issue some where. Any assistance is appreciated.
Will keep this post updated
