Turbo parts #'s

Could use some help here :-/
Seems like the "C" turbo we sold has a dif part # than what is suppose to be on it.
I'm told that the "C" has the part #3LJ-319, and ours is #3LD-305. I'm not looking to sell this guy something that's not what I said it was.
Does anyone know these part #'s, or where I might find the info?
As far as I know this was a "whistler", based on the sound that we listened to for a year and the photos comparing "C" & "D" turbos.

Thanks,

(it seems that the # matches up w/ the "old style". Is that still a whistler and what would be the difference between "old" & "new"?)

The 3LD305 is the first turbo model, used only on early LDT465-1C engines.
The the common whistler ist the 3LJ 319, factory original on LDT465-1C AND -1D
The non-whistler 3LM39 was used only on the LDT465-1D.
All turbos were used by the military as a replacement on both LDT models and even on LDS engines.
The C & D turbo designations have been used for many years by many people, but are made-up designations, and are not used by the government or schwitzer, so you will not find them on the data tag or in the manuals.

Thanks, so does that make it an "early whistler"?
I sold it as a whistler based on what we listened to for a year and now I may have to reimburse the buyer. Does it have a dif value? is it something special, or rare? . . . or maybe not wanted at all?

If you sold it as a whistler, and it does whistle, you are good.
The 3LD305 is definitely special and rare, why it was replaced by the 3LJ, i don´t know, it may just have been discontinued.
However, this turbo can be seen in most LDT pictures in the manuals.
I would love to have one for my collection.

In addition, many have reported higher boost levels with that turbo. If the deal goes "south", Let me know.
