Thanks for the link, those are great pics!

But it made me tired just thinking about all that maintenance afterwards...

We didn't ride our deuce through these mudholes for exactly that reason. But it was prime time to watch!

To me, the stars of that show were the M151 for driving almost submerged through the holes, and two small Unimogs for their unsurpassed offroad-capabilities. Unfortunatly they are not shown on the gallery, because they were non-military forest-department vehicles.
These things went stoically through the deepest mud and over everything.
Another highlight was riding along in the MAN KAT1. We call it "off-road sofa" since then, because riding even over the toughest ground feels like swaying around on a big fat tv-couch. They were unbeaten off-road performers, even with heavy loads (shelter....) on their backs.

The diversity of the vehicle types shown is amazing. It is very nice to see you guys can still have fun over there. You should rescue some Panthers, Tigers, and Leopards from the local "zoo." I see a Leopard has escaped and is running around but...where's the turret? Is that wrecker British or French? You're having too much fun. Stop it. :D

P.S. do you guys get heavily taxed over there for having diesels? I was speaking to some Svenskas the other day and they explained that most cars in Sweden are gas due to excessive fees for diesel. I was surprised.
