useing rubbing alchol

Was at the local garage and overheard one saying he put rubbing alchol in his gas tank to help with cleaning injectors and fuel system. Has anyone heard this or do you have any ideas on mixing rubbing alchol in fuel. Thanks Kenneth

Supposedly cleans up emissions for smog checks and of course works as a water magnet to combine with and get moisture out of fuel systems. Would probably be a pretty good gas deposit remover too. Not sure I'd use it on a regular basis though.
