I upgraded my Hmmwv to a 200 amp alternator. The upgrade kit indicates you use three -18 v belts to run the alternator and one v belt for the power steering pump. Everything looks aligned right but my system keeps eating one of the -18 belts. From front of the vehicle to back I have the three -18 belts on first and then the power steering belt. The -18 belt, third from front or in front of the power steering belt is the belt being consumed. I'm thinking of using two -18 to run the alternator and two to run the power steering. Anyone else confront this?
