Hi folks,

It' been a while from my last post.

Now I've One , maybe stupid, question for all you:
Where Is the exact position of the wacuum pump?

In my attempts to start it I noticed that the vacuum pump was not in the position I had initially placed it.
I asked my wife to start the engine and looking at the vacuum pump it was oscillating a lot.

The initial position was turned to passenger's side. Then, as the starter motor did its job, this vacuum pump began to oscillate until it turned toward the driver's side.

Is this oscillation correct?
Is because I've put down the air filter?

I tried to move It left (passenger's side) and right (driver's side) and I noticed some resistance on the left side .

Thanks a lot for your precious help

I have mine set closer to the passenger side. At the base of the vacuum pump there is a bolt (7) and a plate ( 8 )that holds the pump in place. Tighten that bolt (7) to prevent oscillation.
