valve spring question

After starting the truck this morning. She didn't quite sound the same.
pulled the intake off and the valve covers and found this.

I also found some fragments of a little spring. I think it might be the stem seal
I've never replaced the valve springs on a 6.2L , so what parts do I need apart from the spring and valve seal?...

It is the size of a pencil lead.
And my apologies , I didn't mean to make it a guessing game. Next time I take something in the photo to be able to scale it...
both pieces are spring fragments. I don't know how much is missing from the original size, though
I think , it could be from a exhaust lifter valve seal
btw...are the mil spec lifter valve assemblies the same as in a civi 6.2L? mine is a 1990, i think
