I suppose it's sort of a gray area right now. The rules say "• Do not post items for sale in the forums. That is what the classified ads section is for. Moderators may delete your For Sale postings without notice."

We are looking for ways to streamline the classifieds and are currently discussing options. Once the powers that be make a decision, the rules will be far clearer.

So this can stay for now.

i thought it was OK to announce that something was for sale and it was in the classifieds but not go into detail , price, ect
