The moving Wall will be traveling from Brighton, MI. tomorrow at 8AM in a procession to Bennett Park in the Village of Hamburg.

If you have not seen The Wall please go if you can. When they had it here at the Infantry Museum it was a very sobering experience.

Go one step more, find out how to volunteer to help out. I did a couple years, boy did I learn a LOT. I found if you really want to hear the more interesting stories, do the late night or even over night shifts.

A bunch of the vets don't want to be out with the rest of the people just looking at it. So they come late figuring everyone else has gone. I had a couple vets I helped find names for tell their stories and they brought me to tears hearing them.

When I did the Independence day parade with the Vietnam vets, I told them when it comes in let me know, my truck and myself will be there as much as possible.

I escorted it into my home town with two WWII vets in the cab of my old duece it was the best expereance of my life they told stories upon stories . We can all learn alot from these fellow soldiers. then later that night my truck was joined by Gimpy's Wrecker and Junkyardwars Tipper. It was a great thing to get to honor this piece of moveing history . I hope to get the honor of escorting it again . If you have not seen this you really need to go see it . It is a very moveing expereance.

Moving Wall

Mot sure who owns it. I am escorting it in a procession with my Deuce. They have also asked me to park my Deuce at the wall for the weekend. It was here in Brighton last year and I missed it, so I am very excited to see it and be a part of it this year.

Our vfw with have the wall labor day, in ms. I don,t know if there is more of the moving walls or not, or who ownes them.
