I was mowing around the deuces this weekend and noticed that the lawnmower fit further under the winch truck than it did under the no winch truck. Does one sit a bit higher than the other?

The winch adds about 450# to the very end of the front end, so it's going to sit a bit lower (maybe an 1 inch or so depending on the condition of your shocks)

the winch trucks front bumper sits about 8" higher then the wo/w winch trucks. if you look at it the bumper is not dead infront of the frame with a winch it actually sits up higher

Shocks don't hold it up, springs do. So I'd expect it to be a touch lower under the cab steps and such, however the frame extensions do raise the front bumper considerably.

I just swapped a winch this past weekend, the winch truck uses a regular bumper flipped upside down and it does sit higher than a stock one. The stock bumper slides directly over the frame, the winch bumper with extensions sits out and higher.

Brother Will noticed that last weekend while my Deuce was next to his. Mine is WO/W his W/W We measured them at the top of the wheel wells and his was 1 inch lower. Guess that extra 500 lbs makes a differance

Sorry, shocks don't do anything to hold the truck up, that's the job of the springs. Shocks dampen the spring's travel.
