We built a WC21 over the last two years to participate in the MVPA Alaska Highway Convoy the August. Yesterday Wisconsin WWII veterans were honored with an event in Green Bay that included a dozen WWII vehicles on display. Drove the WC21 23 miles to the event as its first outing since project was completed and 23 miles home again without any problems, so the test schedule will continue.
It was a WC21 that was the first truck to drive the entire length of the new military road in 1942. The markings are from The North West Service Command (NWSC) and the 340th General Engineer Regt. They built the section from Whitehorse to Contact Creek.
