Weight classification on SC title

The SC title that I received from the seller when I purchased my M37 says “040” under “weight.” Does anyone know what “040” means? I'm guessing it's some range of weights, but what range?

On the application for a new title I have to indicate the vehicle's weight in lds. Hopefully "040" includes the weight of this vehicle, because I don't want to have to put something on the application that creates a discrepency with the current title.

Thanks

I think it means 4000 pounds, but I looked at all the SC titles I have and they all list the exact weight. If it's an old title, it may very well be a code for a weight class. Just use the empty weight when you fill out the paperwork.
