I've got news folks - this isn't a GL issue per-se. First, I can only think of two trucks I've bought from GL, vs several from DRMO. On the the DRMO trucks I had levers, shackles, fuel pumps, light switches and even a windshield taken through the years at Riley, Campbell, and Shelby.
So - who is the crook here GL, or whoever unbolted the pigtail? You're pissed at GL cause your stuff is missing - GL didn't take it, some other joker did. Before I started writing for a living, I had a hobby shop. Thieves stole stuff off my shelves and out of kits daily (one reason I left the business) - if someone bought a kit with something missing, we made it good, I replaced the item if I could or gave a full or partial refund (their choice) and then I ate the loss. And on the better RC helicopters, airplanes and cars, this could be substantial (read hundreds of dollars).
BUT if someone had said they "got screwed" by me because someone else stole something, I'd have told them in no uncertain terms to never, ever darken my door again, and I'd likely not have given then a refund either (If they ignorantly accuse me of stealing, I can accuse them of losing). Any further lip from the "customer" would result in their physical removal from the property, in a most uncomfortable manner, and that is not conjecture, that is how I conducted business.
Did GL also steal the guns from the shed behind your house? I'm sorry - but your complaint just doesn't wash FreightTrain. Have you calmly called someone at GL and explained the problem (of course, that there was a delay between pickup and when you actually saw the items may not help your case), and try to work something out with them, or did you just go on line and start complaining that GL screwed you?
Think about it.

David Doyle
