North Carolina doesn't legally allow raising or lowering any vehicle more than 6" from it's factory ride height. Law has been on the books for years, but LEO's won't bust you for it unless they pull you for some other infraction... then they start writing a book on you - it's also illegal in NC to mount or burn more than 1 pair of auxilliary lights, clear or fog.Definitely not legal here in VA or the surrounding states.
