Ok here is what I got. Some times and sometimes only I will hear a relay go clunk while I am driving (engine been running for more than 5 min) and the volt gauge does almost to the red. It only happens for about a second and the relay clicks off. Based on this I am suspecting the glowplugs. Is this a correct assumption? Also what are the places to check? The card has been pulled out of the truck so I dont burn the plugs but I am not sure if that was the problem as the card looks fine. Truck is starting fine and the plugs cycle normally when the truck sits overnight and the card is in place. I am not sure if pulling the card has fixed the problem yet as I just did that today as this is the send day of my troubles, however, it did do this ONCE about 4 months ago.
