What is the correct color

What is the correct color for a Marine mule I was wanting to use marine lusterless Green with yellow lettering would that color combo be correct and while we are at it what is the correct color Yellow for the letters .

For USMC, we use Gillespie 24052. I found some highway yellow at Ace Hardware that looks good to me, but Rod says it has too much orange in it, he likes a yellow sold by Beachwood Canvas.

The guys at the "Mech" (mechanized museum at Camp Pendleton) like "old cat yellow"....I found it at our local farm/ranch supply...looks good!

I did paint some mules and M151, when i was in the Marines , it was 1970 Viet Nam , we used the same green that we painted our Helicopters with and black for the numbers , I know this is not spec , but what we did one week , for 3/9 and it was fine with them , we were a helo unit helping our friends out

Gillespie forest green. Either 24052 or 34052 depending on whether you prefer semi gloss or lusterless.

Mutt is right "Old Caterpillar Yellow" is the right yellow paint to use on a mule. So close to original it is all but impossible to tell the difference.
