What oil for driveline?

I want to change all the fluids in my Deuce and need to know what to put in the drive line. What is a good commercially available gear lube for the Deuce driveline that will properly lube the bronze bushings found in these older units?

I used a hand pump from harbor freight to transfer the gear oil.

Remember to fill to a chuckle below the plug.

I need to use the search more and figure out how to search things out properly. I usually end up getting a load of unrelated threads that take forever to sift through. Thanks though, found the info I needed in the above listed threads.

Try using the Search function on the left side of the screen, under the list of who is on-line.


Select "Advanced Search"

Use 2 or three key words(play around with synonyms), and choose the correct forum to search in.

This should improve your search results.

The best bet is to go to the forum of the vehicle you are looking for answers on, and search there. If you search the whole site, you get less specific results.
