What should I save from a 250 cummins?

I got a 250 cummins in a can from GL. The #4 and #2 pistons are melted/damaged. I pulled the heads, injection pump, starter, alternator, water pump, new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel.

Right now it is just a short block. Is there any thing else worth saving before it goes?

It is very difficult to find new pistons for that engine (as me how I know).....if the other pistons and liners are good I would pull them and save. Also the heads and injectors may have value if you find someone rebuilding a 250.
Pulling the liners can be a real pain if you don't have the right tool.

I don't have a tool to pull the liner. the engine has 4 good pistons. I did save the heads.

Pistons are made of unobtanium for the 250. I'd save them as well as the oil cooler and pan.

you should be able to get away with using a 2x4 and a good sized hammer to pull the liners without any damage....
