What Spline count will I find on my 1970 M35A2 Front axle

I am considering picking up free wheeling hubs for my deuce and short of pulling the front hub and counting can anyone tell me what I will find with any reliability? I like the idea of keeping all that metal from turning when I am just rolling down I 95.

16 splines on the Rockwell 2.5 ton axle. Ouverson hubs are tough to beat, but they are fairly large.
