What's the deal with this schrader valve? M944a1

I'll start off by saying I am new to the world of 5 ton trucks.

Tinkering with my recently acquired M944a1 this weekend and when checking pressures all around came across this valve on one of six wheels. Need to add air but the little Milwaukee 18v battery rattler I had with me wouldn't make it past the leading edge to actually thread on.

Thinking ahead for my next trip - will a standard push-to-fill schrader chuck work to inflate? Almost wonder if I have one CTIS wheel on the truck or something - seen a lot of wheel / tire combos but have never come across a schrader like this.

It is an LMTV type valve stem for ctis. Your air Chuck will still go on it.

You can get a tie tool and thread it so it'll take a cap

Thank you! This is out at my remote property in Wyoming so all I had with me was my little 18v Milwaukee inflator with a threaded chuck.

So you’re saying a normal push to fill chuck should work?
