Wheel valve

Should the wheel valve be leaking back into the axle slowly? I cover the tube that goes from valve to axle and it will slowly build up pressure behind my thumb. It's not supposed to do that correct?

Correct. You can take the valve apart and clean it up, sometimes it helps...
