Where is the joint of the door seals located?

I received new door seals today but cannot find any info on where to put the joint (gap).

Put the opening under the threshold cover. And most seals have the glue adhesive in them already if we are talking the door on body seals.

That makes the most sense. Just wanted to double check.

Agree with the above; I would add: leave a little gap for drainage and if there is a spot where you have noticed water collecting that would be a good location.
