Where to tie the tie-up rope on the CUCV?

This is my first time to post here from Japan.
I have my cucv m1009 with full set of antennas and two tie-down kits. Because the antennas are too long to post upright, I would like to tie down with ropes on the body.

However, I am not sure where to tie the rope in the military manner. I have ever seen the ropes are tied on the front brush guard, but is that the way of military manner?

I prefer tying them down backward, but don't know where they go.
Can anybody advise me which way is the correct manner for CUCV m1009?:-|

How about the outside of the bumpers? My truck has some of those brass cable clip things that someone removed the rubber from screwed into the bed just above the tail lights. I guess they just used a rope with a not on the end and then tied it off.

You want to avoid tying them down to the front because if you hit any low lying stuff like a branch or something it can catch the antenna. The tie them down to the front on HMMWVs but those are also shorter in stance then the CUCV. Plus I'm pretty sure they would interfere with the door opening if you tied them down to the front.

Thanks for your advice! The tie down ropes were too short to tied antennas down to bumpers, but now now I got the long ones so that I can tie down to bumpers.
