why would all of my glow plugs go at once?

I bought wellman gp about 2 months ago and went out yesterday and wont start, so i removed the gp's and hooked them up to a battery and nothing happened. two were a little melted.

Perhaps you should check voltage going to plugs. The other thing I can think of is too long a glow durration.

sounds like burn out to me.... too high of volts or on too long or on off on off on off on off.. you get the idea
