The starter looks like the 2920-226-6545, which is one of the models used on the multifuel engine and the 60 amp alternator is correct also.....

It looks like the "nose" is indexed to fit a 5 ton Multi-Fuel. It can be reconfigured easily. Look at the direction of rotation on the motor, the deuce starter turns clockwise as you face the drive end. The drive gear should have 12 teeth. Spares are nice to have! Take a look at TM 9-2920-248-35(Prestolite) or TM 9-2920-243-34(Leece Neville) for more info.

The TM 9-2920-242-35 has the starter mentioned above listed on its cover, available from milman61 (ebay).

Thanks, I will check the starter rotation. I bought these because I had a chance they would work and people to give/sell if they dont.
Yep, spares are nice. Do you think the duece will notice the added weight of the parts.

As I face the end of the starter with the gear, the arrow on the nameplate is pointed clockwise. There is 12 teeth. Does this mean it is built for a Duece?
