Winch brake removal ?

Jim Hunter

New member
Hello guys,

I finally get an garwood winch which is never used !
But the brake housing is full of sludge and lightly corroded.
I remove the bolt and the washer but I can't remove the brake cylinder.
Also looks that there is not enough space for my pullers.
Any suggestion to remove it properly ?

Thank you,
Jim
