Yes it is, but it is missing some parts, and you'll need a bunch of other major parts (PTO, winch drive shaft, lever, bumper extensions, ect) to mount it all up and work it.

Thanks, what kind of price does all that add up to? Just wondering what this much of the winch  is worth and how much will it cost me to get the rest of the parts.

All I see missing the the clutch lever and the cable. Looks like a good deuce winch to me. Check for hairline cracks in the gear housing and for a broken bull gear.

Usually just the winch itself goes for around $300-$400. Unless you are awfully lucky at finding parts, it's more expensive to "piece one together". All of the other parts add up pretty quick.

If the winch is cheap enough I'd still buy it though. People are always needing repacement winches or parts.

there is no doubt that this is a garwood 10k but it seems a bit "off". the data plate doesn't look like ive seen before and the drum lock lever is diff as well. anyone wanna elaborate?

and i am by no means an expert, i only have one myself but have seen many pictures. just curious is all.

From 1953-1987, a few things changed slightly, the data tag is one of those things.

I like the old style drum lock knob better!

Those winches were used on the 135/211 trucks too, not just the m35. That could be more reasons too. Get the winch either way!

If you can get it for a couple hundred bucks, get it. Like mentioned above you can use it and piece a whole winch set up together or at least have a spare for parts.
