Hey All. I have a BADLAND APEX 12,000 lb. Winch with Synthetic Rope that I'm going to have installed on my 1984 CUCV. I was wondering if I can see some photos of winch installs others have done. I plan on having it installed on the front tow hooks.
Also anything I should know about the wiring connections.
Thanks

I have a 12k Badlands winch, not the Apex. I mounted mine upside down, using the cut down Harbor Freight mount plate, to the upper frame rail right in the front. I cut a hole in the front bumper and put a fairlead plate cover one it. You really can't tell its there. I put the control box right near the washer reservoir. I did have to extend the wires, required additional purchase.
