winch pto linkage length

I've about got my winch install finnished. Only thing I missing is the linkage that goes from the lever to the PTO shift rod. I've got a linkage from a 5-ton but I assume it's not the same. What I need to know is the linkage length so I can either shorten or lengthen the 5-ton linkage to make it work. Does anybody have one lying around that they can take a measurement on?

Better go cut 8-7/8" off that first rod!:roll:

Well I though Travis' first post was a little long but I wasn't going to argue with him because I honestly didn't know for sure. I was going to wait for some more post before I fabbed up the rod though. ;)

Anyway, thanks for the help from everybody.

LOL... thought that might have happened guppy. Think the rod is adjustable also, don't know if they end up being different lengths for different trucks. Pulled the transmission's a few times, so memory was still fresh on that one.
