I have a spool of wire on the front of the MEP-002A trailier it looks like cable RG58 type. (see photo) What is this used for?

Looks like general purpose power cable for something. The connector is for mil-spec power connections...

Looks to me like a Comm Cable.... I have the same connectors in banks on the outside of my S-280 (Former Telephone Mulitiplexer) The Reel could be re-purposed for your output power cable......

That reel is CX11230. NOT a power cable.

If it's copper you can burn the insulation off and scrap it.

Could it be re-purposed to hold extension cords or with electrical cable? Even if you couldn't wire the reel live it could help store your cords. PM me if you don't want it.
