Worth saving 12 bolt rims?

My m1123 has 12 bolt rims in almost perfect condition for a rebuild. The tires are totally dry rotted and I figured it would be most cost effective to replace the entire rim/tire set with 37 inch civilian tires and some black rhino rims.
My question is, is it even worth saving the original rims and fighting them to get the old tires off? Or just mount the new ones and give the old ones a toss?
Thoughts?

Have to dismount the tires anyway to send them to recycle. No big deal.
