WTH: White Wall tires on Taliban HMMWV?

I was watching the news and saw the Taliban parade our equipment. Many of the HMMWV, trucks and other rolling thunder had white wall tires? Here is one picture I found.

Maybe they just painted them on. Looks like they also did some pin stripping on some of the vehicles too! Please tell me those tires is not something we used!

Pretty dumb idea, it's like painting a scope ring/bullseye for the enemy to aim at from far away... But, consider the source.

Ya, sorry boot dat. Canada may have given them the idea. Either that or the target marking folks got the white paint mixed up with the lasers.
