Hello everyone! I know the subject has been beaten to death, but I am getting to a point on my M923A2 where I want to invest in some new shoes for it. I am in Tennessee and my goal is to be able to make some short trips to neighboring states to events and the like. I probably wouldn’t trust the late 2000s dated XZLs for something like that, although they are still in relatively good shape. So I have narrowed it down to two options:
1. Buy 7 new production 1400R20 Continental HCS
2. Switch to 395s in Goodyear MV/T or XZL
Obviously the 395s would be cheaper and easier to get. But I do feel that 1400R20 does fit the look of the truck better. With that being said…does anyone have any pictures of a 900 series with 395s side by side with one with the stock 1400s? Does it change the look or stance significantly? And can you still cruise at 60MPH comfortably?
