Mine do that too. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the blackout light switch. Because if the blinkers didn't run through that switch then you could be driving along all blacked out with your night vision on and you accidentally hit the blinker...BAM! Now your a flashing target, plus the bright blinking is burning your eyes out when magnified through your night vision.

But that's just my thoughts. I have nothing to prove this idea.

Designed that way. Alot of speculation as to why but no concrete answer. No one at GM is talking....lol

It is covered in the TM 9-2320-289-10 Operations Manual.
