Fuel can mount

Were fuel cans ever mounted to a Mighty Mite? If so, where would they go? My guess is on the rear next to the spare tire. I'm thinking of putting one there.

Mite fuel can mount

Can't say if they EVER had fuel cans mounted, but my Marine buddy doesn't think he saw any.
