M923A2 ABS mystery

Could use some direction from the brain trust. Recently had a mechanic replace an air compressor that failed on my 923A2.. When I picked up the truck the ABS light is staying Illuminated. Prior to dropping off when I powered the dash I used to hear a few clicks and pops then the ABS light would go out and truck would fire up. Now I do not hear any clicks and pops when powering up the dash(turn key and flip toggle). I have checked fuses in this area and all are good. Any ideas? Not sure where clicks and pops used to come from but suspect that is indicative of my problem. I am mechanically challenged....

Sounds like your mechanic did an improper shutdown, and at minimum fried you ABS module.

Sure enough it was the ABS module. Bought a new one and swapped out. Issue resolved. Thank you all for information.
