hello everyone, new to the forum and a new M35A2 owner. that being a case I have a newbie question. when going to register, insure and VIN verify, do the "X" in the VIN number go on the form or are they just representing a empty spot? example: 123456789xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I'm looking at possibly registering a M1009 and 105 trailer soon also and I figure it will be the same.

The M1009 will have a standard 17 digit VIN number just like a civvy unit. The trailer will not. It may be as few as 5 or 6.

Read CARNAC's 2014 VIN thread for info for other trucks.
