The feueprice is absut 1.10-1.20€ each Liter, thats a lot. I still think back to the Deutsche Mark but if you do that one liter will cost 2.40DM !!

That's about double the price that I am paying. Luckily, the 1009 does pretty good on fuel for an old truck as long as you keep the speed down.

Thats right, if you keep slow you can drive the 1009 with 13l/100km thats ok for an engine with 6.2liters.
Some people asked me why I dont't drive with organic-diesel or oil, but I don't believe in this kind of fuel. Sometimes, whrn the price is down, i feed him with sythetic diesel. I call it "the good stuff" .
Ok, I believe to the ghost in the machine......
