Olympic Flight Museum Miltaria Show

March 31 OFM will be hosting a Miltaria Show as a fund raiser for the Museum.
If we would like to turn their front parking lot into a NW Rally point, they would go for that, but they ask that we have enough vehicles to fill it. Please chime in and let me know what you think.

More information please contact the Museum for more information on selling inside. They may go for stuff for sale outside. I haven't contacted them on this.

The probable schedule would be set up about 0800 if you are selling or displaying inside. There parking lot is small so we would have to be flexible to let the people get there vehicles in and unloaded then we could get final position in the parking lot.

The event probably runs about 0900 to 1500. I will be more accurate and detailed as it gets closer. Read that to mean that I lost the flyer. :( But we will make it work.

Talked with the Museum Director today about our participation. They will reserve the front parking lot for us. There are two handicap parking stalls that we may need to leave open. If you bring a vehicle for display, there will be no entry charge for the show. They would be open if someone wants to bring along some trade items, for instance in the back of your truck, out in the parking lot, they will not charge a table rental, but would ask that you make a percentage donation to the museum, on the honor system. Normal show/museum entry is 5 dollars per person. Inside sales tables will be 25 dollars each.

Show time is 1000 to 1700 and they will allow indoor setup starting at 0800. It may be an option for you to set up inside the afternoon before the event.

I would like to get a vehicle count a few days before so the we can let the director know. She will also mention Steelsoldiers participation in some of the advertising.

Got a note from the Musuem Director today and she asked for a small write up about Steel Soldiers for a newspaper article about the show. I asked if she wanted me to tell the truth about you guys or give her something suitable for publication. :) So hope we are going to get a good turn out for this one. Will give final details a couple of weeks in advance.

Have already emailed Teri to reserve a table. Am bringing the Blazer and possibly the Jeep tlr, as I have a lot of excess to sell. WW2 original and repop thru Viet Nam, and a few later items.

I have a sale table too. You know me, everthing I have will fit on one 8 foot table.
Am working on doing a two table display for the annviersary of Operation Market Garden and the 17th AB's participation in that event. Met a man last weekend and his father was a 17th man, he had some things that I will borrow and add to what I already have.

Sounds like there are questions. Bottom line, be there around 0900. The actual inside event starts at 1000. We get their front parking lot for MV's. Except that we do need to leave the 2 handicap parking stalls open for use. depending on size of vehicles, looks like we should be able to get 8 to 12 in there fairly comfortably. If there is enough interest, we will cone off a space right directly across the access road from the parking lot for MV's as well. With this you get to BS everyone and get into the show for at the museum for free.

Olympic Flight Museum Militaria Show & Sale - March 31st

One week and counting to the OFM's March 31st event. Reservations for display and sales tables have been coming in fast and furious, so it looks like this may be the biggest show yet at the OFM!
