Leaking fuel onto turbo, what is this part?

I am leaking fuel onto the turbo, and it's coming out of the end of a part that screws into the charge tube that goes from the turbo to the intake, It has 2 plastic fuel lines screwed into it as well... What is this part? What does it do? Thanks for your help- josh

Try a search with "flame heater" or "flame heater leak". It comes up often in the deuce thread.

Actually we had a thread like this about 2 weeks ago titled "fuel leaking onto turbo, what is it?"

You could always look at the TM that is nothing but pictures and part names and part numbers.

Thanks for the help guys, it looks like all I need to do is install new O-rings.. I tried lookin in the TM's but the only Internet I have right now is on my phone, and it doesn't like to load on my phone... Lol. Thanks again

I hear that these can cause fuel to get into the crankcase. I have searched all day and have heard it mentioned many times. My question is, how does it cause fuel to get in there. I can't find that explained anywhere. I spent an hour looking for the answer.

The only way that could happen is, if the fuel nozzle leaked so much fuel that it filled the turbo and leaked past the shaft seal. (all while not running)

That is very unlikely to ever happen. I think that comment is incorrect.

I replaced the O-Ring a couple of months ago. I Tried to do it without taking the valve off, It did not work. Take the unit off so you can work on a bench! It was an easy Job, about an hour or so. It has not leaked since. Good Luck

I plugged mine off as the insides of that doodad wouldn't come out.
