RPK fits CUCV gun rack

Hey guys. Well today I picked up two RPKs and just for ****s and giggles I wanted to see if they would fit in my M1208 gun rack. Fit like a glove. In fact better than an M4 or M16. ZERO rattles.

I put the mag in after I secured the rifle to see what it lookd like. Its a 40 rounder. My 75 round drums might also fit but will check that out later. When in transport it they wont have mags in them.

You need to replace the slant brake with a muzzle nut and put on the proper bipods.

It has the proper Hungarian Mil Spec Bi Pod installed. The slant break can go though.

Looks like a good fit, just take it easy on the live weapons discussions/pics. That's worse than politics here.

The slant break is not all bad, when using a rifle with a bipod..
When using the bipod, in loose dirt or dusty conditions, the slant break will help with the blast direction, will go up instead of down.. Try it you may like it..

Sorry if I said Hungarian. I meant Romanian. Its 100% Romanian RPK. All matching serial numbers on the one pictured while my second one is all matching numbers except the dust cover. Even my drums are Romanian.

Yeah, the AES10B are nice guns, as I have one. The PKM bipod they come with just don't work well.

I have three Romanian military part kits RPK models to build, they represent the three different Bipods used.
