M1008 Custom Bench Seat?

Hi,

I was looking at this M1008 listed on ebay and it had the coolest bench seat in it. Has anyone else ever used on of these? Are they any good? Cost?

I think that's so silly. he has a off road machine with seats that give no support and looks like you can slide out easily. When I run seats i will run something like this.

Whats the make of the seat on the left? I have been considering adding full shoulder restraints for the lack of air bags and other modern ideas like soft dashboards with no steel hiding under them and this might be a goo play as long as you could add a support bar behind them. Is that what you were thinking of doing?

well i have a bolt in cage in the truck so ill add a bar behind the seat for the 4 point harness and run tubes on the floor for the seat frames and the lower belts. The seat on the left is a master craft.

Bshupe, that's a real military looking seat. Too bad no one knows what it's out of. Those knobs on the front of each one look interesting.

Yeah, I really like it. Looks like you could have three people sitting a little more securely than on a vinyl bench.

I was curious about the knobs as well. I sent a message to the guy selling it but he is obviously too pre-occupied to reply. lol

May or may not be legit but they are for a breathing/rebreathing/supplied air system that is used with the gas masks on the dash.

Quick google search of Trail Boss seats brings up some aftermarket on/off-road seats as well as seat bases. Appears he mounted some spring-ride suspensions in the floor w/ military seats bolted to them

my memory may ne a little fuzzy but I seem to remember hittin bumps in the 5tons and bouncing right into the roof with spring ride seats.
