Looking at it. I would design a box. wood would work and you could bolt it to the frame almost like a firewood box on a pickup. Just do it from the rear of the truck to your 5th wheel.... make it about 2ft or 3ft high and let it fill with snow and pack it then fill in some extra. Thatll be good traction. when you want to remove it just unbolt it and let it fall out.

Hey P-dizzle,
What happened to your BV206? Did you get rid of it?
We just got about 6" of snow down here.
Thanks for posting the pics.
At 11 tons, I would think the tractor would do rather well on it's own,
seems the front tires could pull the back around if it loses traction back there.
carry on.....

First video climbing out of a drainage ditch. One thing noted the front axle did not always engage. Had to shift it back and forth from reverse to first a few times when I could tell it was not pulling. Didn't seem to ever engage in third and higher. I had it low range most of the time. The hill in the video was impossible to climb without the front axle pulling. When it was it climbed out just off idle without a wheel spinning at all. More videos to follow.

While driving it around the water temp shows about 180. When it sat at idle foir a few minutes it cooled down to about 160. 160 was the coolest it got after the initial warm up.

To the way I understand it, front wheel drive is only engaged in first gear and reverse gear, regardless of high or low range.

My guess would be the temp might go higher than 180 with a weather front on. While operating the truck it holds a good temp of 180 even when colder than 25 degrees.

I have a couple old m35 cold weather fronts that are torn and just old and warn out so I was going to us them as a base to for a new m809s cold weather front, reusing the head light lenses and some of the spring straps. for below 32* weather.
