Well I won me a M923 out of Leonard Wood yesterday. I'm doing the whole EUC thing at the moment so I have a bit of time. I'm hoping if there are any members in the area or members that will be going there could check out my M923 for me. Just so I have an idea what I may be up against so I can prepare for the eventual recovery.

I was there about a month ago and climed inside that truck. Acutally I bought the truck sitting directly behind yours but have been waiting on the euc to clear. I thought that truck sold already?? I wonder what happened.

Really... You didn't happen to see anything out of the ordinary with it? I'm just trying to get an idea of anything that may crop up since I didn't preview plus the description said they didn't know how it got on the lot but it started and moved.

When I picked up my M923 last week, Dave the GL rep said two of the M923's went back up for sale because the buyer failed to pay.

ARYankee you got a great deal on that truck for the money you spent.

I looked at some of the trucks that just came in...some were good, one had caged brakes, one with brakes locked up, one with a steering gear leak and one that didn't start.

There where about seven or eight trucks there when I went and looked at them. I didn't pop the hood on your truck because on all the other ones that I did everything looked fine. I would just be sure to check everyting over before the trip home. The guy at govliquidation " dave " is aces and very helpful.

That's what I want to hear :) Thanks for the info. I followed your recovery thread and that is what pushed me into getting a 923.
Hope you have good luck as I did on the road trip.

Whats your backup plan if it breaks down on the way home? I would bring an extra fuel filter just in case. I had some alge in the bottom of my tank.2cents

At the moment I am devising a back up plan. I am going to get some folks numbers and info along my route that could assist me if I run into something major. I did plan on bringing an extra filter along with other essential recovery items.

I wanted to post and say that I no longer need an inspection done thanks to Andy1234. He hooked me up. Thanks for the replies folks.
